I’m Kelly Stark, a Product/UX Designer who specializes in bringing structure and clarity to complex systems.
My work sits at the intersection of research, accessibility, and systems-level thinking. I've spent the last several years designing enterprise software and device interfaces in regulated environments — the kind of products where getting it wrong has real consequences for real people. That context shaped how I work: deliberately, collaboratively, and always with the end user in mind.
My background in psychology isn't just a credential — it's how I think about design. Understanding how people process information and make decisions under pressure has been more useful to me than almost anything else.
Long before I was a designer, I worked in human services — helping people navigate systems that weren't built with them in mind. That's still what drives me.
If you're looking for someone who brings structure, accountability, and genuine user empathy to complex product problems, I'd love to connect.
What I’m Working On
Right now I'm focused on expanding my skill set into data analytics. I've been exploring how a stronger foundation in data — reading it, interpreting it, and communicating it — would make me a better designer and a more useful collaborator on product teams. A lot of design decisions live or die on what the data is telling you, and I want to be someone who can participate in that conversation more fully rather than hand it off to someone else. Working toward my IBM Data Analyst certification as a next step.
